About Me

My name is Steven, I am analytical, results-oriented and strongly organized.

Through my years of experience in complex international IT projects, I have developed strong organizational skills, both conceptually and operationally. I have worked in many different industries. The goal was always the same, getting data from A to B. Clients describe me as organizationally strong, goal-oriented, analytical, stress-resistant, decisive, and solution-oriented. I continuously monitor customer requirements and maintain a clear, open, and direct communication style. I am decisive, self-directed, responsible, and anticipate changes and risks. As a result, people trust me to work toward a goal, and I am able to get them excited about it. What gives me energy? Working toward a goal and achieving it, tackling challenges head-on. Analyzing customer requirements, translating concepts into structure, and rolling them out into a program—that's what gives me energy and is also where my strength lies.

Listening to what is needed and why. Gather requirements and driving this to a solution that is most beneficial for the client. Make sure what is implemented is correct and what is required. Especially ensuring this by testing against requirements and always keeping the business in loop.

Working at Capgemini gave me a lot of experience in many different industries. I find it interesting that, regardless of the industry, the base requirements remain the same. Streamline processes, getting data from A to B (and reverse), migrating data. Best thing about consulting, you are the expert and the client listens to what you have to bring to the table.

Interface Designing and Rollout Management

The insurance industry is very interesting. Tons of data to go around and many systems that want to make use of it. My main focus was designing how these systems could all be in sync.

Project Management

Managing several projects to streamline the inventory management in Nike stores. Main goal was how to get this out of Excel into a better form.
Project 4

Consulting and Managing Director

Working as consultant and managing director was exciting. Setting goals and targets whilst hiring new people and keep projects running. I enjoyed the combination of working on projects and managing the organization.
Project 5

Application Integration

Getting data from a lot of different platforms and applications across the organization in a usable form for organizers, exhibitors and visitors. Using an SSO provider for each application (Keycloak) for a seamless user journey through the different applications.
